Today I’m going to share with you an interview I did with Jim O’Shaughnessy on his podcast Infinite Loops.
Jim is a Wall Street legend and author of investment classic What Works on Wall Street.
More importantly, he is the person I aspire to be when I grow up. As you’ll see from the interview, Jim is as wise as he is kind and fun.
Jim and I seem to share a brain (we were almost finishing each others’ sentences). We talk about the ways that creativity connects the conscious and unconscious mind, the power of reframing and developing a thick skin, and the joys of classical music. We also dive into my youth in Soviet Russia, and how it’s affected me today.
We ran out of time in this interview, and didn’t get the chance (yet) to talk about investing. We’ll record a second session in a few months, so stay tuned.
I hope you enjoy it!
